MEET THE FOUNDER

Ann T. Porter

Ann’s practice focuses on counseling tax-exempt organizations and philanthropists on strategic charitable giving, nonprofit governance, federal tax and regulatory compliance, as well as the full spectrum of business and operational matters.

Over the last decade, Ann has practiced with major global law firms and served as a Trial Attorney for the Tax Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and as General Counsel of an international nonprofit, where she was a member of the executive leadership team and played a key role in advising on mission-critical initiatives.

Throughout her career, she has served a wide-ranging client base including politicians and elected officials, tech innovators, Fortune 500 executives, and other public figures, as well as tax-exempt organizations of all sizes. Ann's background provides her with a unique perspective on the complex intersection of charitable giving strategy, regulatory compliance, and organizational governance that defines modern philanthropy.

Ann currently serves on the advisory council of the Wilberforce Institute, a public policy think tank.
